Brian J. Mosher Brian, began attending Gilead Friends on November 13, 1960 (9days after his birth)! The Church (the people of Gilead) has always been the central focus of his life. Following high school he attended North Central Technical College and received his Degree in Computer Science. He then continued his education and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Ashland University. The business world provided many rewarding opportunities in computer disciplines, executive management, and consulting. During those years, Brian held various positions on the Administrative Council of Gilead Friends and felt blessed to participate in virtually every aspect of the church. The Lord then called Brian into ministry, and in 1996 he was asked to become the Associate Pastor of Gilead Friends Church; an unusual but rewarding blessing! Brian also serves on the Executive Board and as President of the Finance Board for the Evangelical Friends Church Denomination. Pastor Brian’s greatest passion, is to each week, lead the congregation in praise and worship, to the very throne of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He and his wife Pat have been married 28 years. They have four handsome boys, and one beautiful daughter-in-law, and one granddaughter.

Associate Pastor of Youth I grew up in Massachusetts and became a US Army soldier at age 17. I served as a leader in the US Army almost a decade. I was stationed in Europe for most of those years. I have traveled extensively around the world, most of the United States, and served in three combat zones overseas. It was after all of these crazy things that the Lord radically changed my life. After leaving the military I went to school at Florida Atlantic University for preparation to work for the US government. I graduated top of my class and was accepted by a government intelligence agency as well as the FBI for employment. God laid a call on my heart at the same time to serve in ministry by teaching the Bible to teens, young children and doing street outreach programs. God radically transformed my life and made all things new for me. I walked away from everything I thought I was supposed to do, to exactly what God wanted me to do, Teen Youth Ministry. I have worked with teens in ministry in Florida for years, served as a leader on an inner city outreach team, worked in young children's and youth ministry as well as being a middle school teacher and know it is my life calling to work with youth in ministry. I am blessed to be a part of the Gilead Friends Team and excited the that I serve a mighty God who I pray will stir revival in this generation of youth. I have a wonderful wife Diane and all together we have five wonderful children two of which who are still living with us! Yes we have raised teenagers, have a teenager still, and we are diligently homeschooling a very active 6 year old!
When I am not doing the work of the ministry, which never ends, I enjoy reading, writing, and being with my family. |
