Tom grew up on a small farm a long way outside a small town in central Kentucky. He met the Lord while a student at the University of Louisville where he graduated with a degree in Psychology. He served with The Navigators, an international, interdenominational missions organization while working with college students in Yugoslavia (the present day Croatia).
He returned to the States, married his wife Lisa, and began a 20 year career working with college students as a college administrator. Along the way he earned a Masters in College Student Development from Western Kentucky University and a Doctorate from the University of Louisville. Today he serves with The Navigators with a mission to pioneer and establish volunteer and lay led ministries across the US. He is also a professional woodworker and several of his pieces of furniture have sold at some of the finer yard sales in Kentucky. His wife, Lisa, is a speech pathologist in Canton. They are the proud parents of three cats. |
