Game Rules
- 5/6 League: 27.5" ball, lowered hoops, 6-minute quarters.
- 7/8 League: 27.5" ball, lowered hoops, 6-minute quarters.
- Families are to provide a water bottle or sports drink for their child.
- Focus will be first on basic skills: dribbling, shooting, defense, passing. Some kids will be brand new to basketball, and we first want to encourage confidence in these basic skills.
- Coaches/parents may bring snacks, but this is not required. Concessions available.
- There will be a devotion in between games and practices.
- At the final game of the season, there will be an Awards Ceremony following your game. All families are encouraged to arrive extra early that week.
- We Value: Sportsmanship, Basketball Fundamentals, and a Relationship with Jesus.
- At these young ages, a smile and fun experience is more important than scoring, winning, or being the best.
- All Coaches, Referees, and Committee members are volunteers. Please be respectful of the calls that are made. If you have an issue about the game, please notify a Committee Member during or after the game.
- Be encouraging to all coaches and players and enjoy watching these kids play ball.
- All children not playing basketball shall be with parents at all times. Parents should take their child to the restroom when needed - no child should be unattended.
- Be respectful of the facilities, remove trash and recycle your water bottles, etc. as you leave.
